We believe the values and culture of the Western Heritage that we enjoy today is a direct result of the Western culture established many years ago set by our forefathers. Few individuals in the North Texas area are aware of the Historic contribution North Texas and Denton County played in our Western Heritage during cattle drives such as the Chisholm trail. Our goal at RNR Stables is to increase the awareness of the Western Heritage of Denton County by offering shows and events that outline the Western Culture during the Cattle Drive years of Denton County.
Here at RNR Stables we understand the unfortunate circumstances of a broken home on families and children. We honor the rebuilding process of children and parents by offering a “Mom & Me” or “Dad & Me” package year around to aid in the relationship strengthening process.
Our Basic introduction into the Equine world is a perfect fit for Scouts (boys and girls) of all ages. Our RNR Stables focus is on safety and fundamental to establish a good foundation for all riders. Our lesson plans and programs are structured to promote customization to meet Badge and Horse riding requirements of all Scout groups.
With a strong emphasis on sound fundamentals, our Breaking and Training philosophy is built on imbedded and proven basic skills that allow Horse and Rider to progress in a building block manner to promote success and confidence in both. With multiple winners of saddles in Pole Bending, Barrel Racing, Playday events, our RNR Stables influence has been acknowledged as a key component to the success of many Horse and Rider combination in the North Texas area.
Boarding at RNR Stables is available and offers Equine owners a wonderful environment to realize the conveniences of the metroplex just 30 minutes from downtown Dallas and 10 minutes from Denton. We are approximately 1 mile from I-35 across the street from Lake Dallas High School. With many activities, RNR Stables is filled with energy from many Equine activities to encourage everyone’s participation.
Trail Rides at RNR Stables are offered to participants that can demonstrate they control their assigned horse without creating alarm and concern for there safety and not compromise the safety of others. Our Lesson programs are structured to encourage all participants to explore many activities to satisfy their interest within the Equine industry in the North Texas area and abroad. With proven success and winners across many discipline such as High School Rodeo’s, Pro-Youth Rodeo’s, Playdays, Western Pleasure, Trail Rides, and many more, our Lesson programs has proven to be a key element in the success stories from many participants in our RNR Stables Riding lesson programs.
Riding Lessons at RNR Stables are the key component in our Equine development and riding programs. Our Lessons are designed for all experience levels and all ages (youth and adults). With a strong emphasis on safety, our Lessons are designed to build a good foundation of confidence for all riders by executing drills and tasks that allow our team of instructors to monitor and measure all participants develop in a manner to demonstrate a sound understanding of the basic skills needed to become an accomplished rider.
Birthday Parties at RNR Stables allow participants an escape from today’s routine indoor birthday parties with balls and toys to enjoy the great outdoors with horses and good friends. Each party can be customized, within the scope of available resources, to accommodate a variety of activities. Weekly Summer Camps at RNR Stables are developed to introduce and challenge participants of all experience levels between the ages of 8 and 18 into the Equine world with many Equine related drills and exercises in a fun and exciting atmosphere with other Equine enthusiasts. Participating campers learn many elements in the Equine industry such horse care, barn care, grooming, riding, breeds, colors, sizes, and much more.
