Riding Lessons

Requirements:

  • All Contracts & Release Forms must be signed by participant or legal guardian
  • Beginners must bring and wear their own Helmet
  • Boots & Jeans are recommended(riders wearing shorts will NOT be permitted to trot to minimize leg burns and sores.)
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by legal guardian during lesson
  • All participants must adhere to barn rules
  • All participants must sign a Contract and Release Form
  • All lesson cancellation require a min. 48 hr notice to be exempt from Deposit 
  • RNR Stables management, ownership, and/or staff reserve the right to refuse or limit the participation of any one posing a  threat or   scene to anyone or property  at RNR Stables 

As the featured program and focal point of all programs at RNR Stables the Lesson Programs are structured in a manner to promote Horse riders of all ages an Equine environment to develop and nurture their passion to become knowledgeable Horse enthusiasts in a safe and friendly environment with many other Horse lovers.  The foundation of our lesson programs is to teach the importance of learning the right way with basic activities to build confidence and allow the Horse enthusiasts the ability to demonstrate learned skills from proven exercises to achieve a higher Skill Level.
 
Our Skills Level program allows riders a measurable platform to develop their individual Equine skills using a carefully monitored progress sheet to measure the students ability to demonstrate learned skills acquired in our RNR Stables development plan.  Our Skills Level programs are Beginner, Intermediate, an Advanced. Each Skills level is designed to build on the Students ability based on their level when beginning the program.

Governed by a three or six month contractual agreement each Lesson Program is outlined with specific activities and task to monitor and measure students Skill level to accomplish either the Beginner, Intermediate, or Advance Skill level.  Within each Skill Level program students will be exposed to many activities within the following areas to enhance their
Equine skills:  

Pricing:           

A) Program #1: - Three month Contract    
      $65.00 per Lesson (one hour lesson per week)                       
      $100.00 Deposit is required prior to first lesson 


B) Program #2: - Six month Contract        
       $55.00 per Lesson (one hour lesson per week)                       
       $100.00 Deposit is required prior to first lesson

 

C) Individual Lesson:
       $85.00 per Lesson (one hour lesson per week)

Riding lessons at RNR Stables are designed to insure that riders of all skill levels understand and demonstrate good fundamental riding skills that promote safety and identifies with foundational building blocks recognized at RNR Stables. We believe learning to ride the correct way allows riders to promote safety goals for all while experiencing a higher level of enjoyment with all disciplines of riding such as trail, competition, or performance environments. At RNR Stables we believe God has Blessed the human and horse relationship equal if not greater than the relationship between man and dog.  While honoring dog being man's best friend we believe horses have been Blessed to respond in unison with humans when communicated in the correct manner at many levels based on effective communication and enhance confidence of both horse and rider. Riding lessons at RNR Stables features a building block philosophy based on riders existing skill level to promote confidence as the riders ability increases with the drills and exercises utilized in our lesson programs:
